Kohaku is a KOI with white skin and a red pattern. Good white texture is the most important element of the Kohaku. It must not be yellowish or brownish, but should be snow white. Dark but bright HI (Red) is prefereable. It is important that the HI should be uniform. Edges of HI patches should be clear (KIWA).
