Yes, we will have all the evolutionaqua products. Presently awaiting price and stock of the nexus and will test it with big gold fish at my retail store!

Incidentally the two fiberglass test ponds I set up with the Answer have two different bio setups, one with K1 and the other with traditional mats and brushes. There are 12 2ft kois in the one with the mats and 23 1ft+ kois in the K1 tank. My own observation is that the smaller kois are livelier and eat better and I wonder how much that has to do with the K1.

Considering that water from both ponds get mixed together in the sedimentation tank where the Answer is and then feeds into the separate bio setups, it is surprising that there should be such a big difference to the fish. Guess I need to test the water from both tanks and see how different the results are to get conclusive "evidence" that K1 is doing a better job.

Will keep you posted. Incidentally, talking about test kits, which are the best to buy and from where?

cby, we didn't get a chance to see your koi the last time as the water in the two tanks were green Smile

. Is it clearer now? And yes, it'd be good to note down the difference in the water parameters esp the nitrate level in the two different set-ups. Hope you'll update us on that. Test kits? Get it from any large and well stocked aquarium shop in PJ/KL. Brand? Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, Tetra or Azoo.

Hi, any koi dealer will stock these FG tanks. Some aquarium shops also sell them. Try this number 78748143 in PJ.

Hi guys,

Sorry but I maybe a bit late for this post. For discussion sake, could we use a float switch to control the pump in the pump chamber? I mean, since other solutions like overflow pipe into the pump chamber = no filter, might as well just cut off the power supply for the pump while you service the ANSWER? Well, just an opinion!!!
