DIY deep water return w/ venturi Can't Post
Does anybody know how to construct a deep water return?
I'm planning to use the "Y" model so that water can go both ways at the same time.
Also, how do you include a venturi in that system.

Expecting for your expert pieces of advice. Thanks

There are high efficiency venturi available for deep water return.

I use them in Industrial application. Deep water Venturi give highest efficiency to dissolve gas(in this case O2) into water. There venturis make VERY fine bubbles(giving extremely high water-gas contact surface area.

Venturis are surely more efficient than airstone or diffuser.

where did you get it? can you show me? i tried to diy mine it dint work. not only it does not produce air(bubbles), the pump gets really hot pushing water deep. help please.

sure, check this out. my design is looslely based on this one. works well in my pond. 1 built 2, 1 for shallow water and 1 for deep water return. saved me the cost of an air pump & the cost of running it too
