DIY pond cleaner? Can't Post

Hello all...I am very new to this..but need your help...I have about a 2000 gal waterfall pond with 6 koi...the sides of the pond at times is dropping mud down into my water!Mad..I now have about 2-3" of nasty mud that is cloggin up my filter...thought about usuing my husbands wet vac with a net on the end to suck it up!...any idea's..do they make one of these?
