The sakai sanke are the old shipment which he is selling below cost. The problem is that almost all are likely to be male but some indeed has nice body and not to mention colour and patterns. hopefully, some will turn out to be female instead...

Are u referring to that of the new batch? the new batch is also very good but a little expensive now but price should go down a few weeks or a month or two later if there are any left....of course, it wont be the best remain but still ok for our standard i suppose....
I've not collected my koi as its still with them under quarantine..will post once i collect....
Yes, why dont u share your pictures, i dont see why not....

Re: [chriswu3311] Diy Protein Skimmer... [In reply to] Can't Post

u can but collect only when u are about to fly back. U need to arrange with the airline or get a transporter to do it (ask the dealer). For east malaysia, i dont think its that expensive. Further, u only need a box which can fit easily 4 or 5 mid size koi. The O2 can last more than a day depending on the load....i was told, if only 1 small koi with the normal size plastic bag, the koi can survive on the O2, for a week!!

So, did u buy the UV light?

Ya, i has been asked from Air Asia tat they r not allow to send any live fish as luggage.
Except send by cargo but i need to have an import license.
So if i want to buy koi and send it back to Sabah, i must prepare all the thing first.... like Quarantine tank, import license and etc...
I dint buy any thing there, cos i knew my luggage was over weight..... especially i bought many thing from Ikea..kekekekek..

hmmmm...import license? funny, u are local and its within malaysia, what import license? i dont think they know what they are talking...u should ask your local dealer and maybe get him to help....or ask Jeff (call him) to enquire as i believe htey can arrange for u...likewise when i buy koi from singapore, the dealer will arrange the transport to KL and sort out immigration issues

Re: [chriswu3311] Diy Protein Skimmer... [In reply to] Can't Post

CHris, yah, u were right. I was with Jeff yesterday collecting my koi and ask him about it and he remember u as u ask the same thing. He said, u need to go to fisheries department and get the license which is very easy and fast....not sure what he meant but no harm to call them (fisheries dept) and enquire....

Which part of east malaysia are u located? the other option is to pass to the dealer around your area to do the collection. I was told that Jeff also sells to east malaysia but not sure where though...u may need to call jeff...

costing wise, hmmmm....there is freight cost and also shipping. The later is about RM350 which is per shipment irregardless of how many fishes. Hence, if u decide, start collecting bullets and buy at one go and not 1 or 2 as its gonna be costly...

That really shows that UV does miracle!! i dont think u should put on and off the UV but let your bio filter matures for a few months and then turn it off....

NOt sure what harm does UV does but todate, i have my UV for over a year 24/7 but no problems.
