Hi, recently my dad just made this low budget thing using that Arrowhead gallon of water thing with the red nozzle where u pull out, sorry i don't know what you call this. So he took that and put 2 of these replacement sponge things from a filter and the top sponge catches all the big debris and the lower sponge catches all the smaller debris, and he took of the red nozzle thing so the water could flow better. What I wanted to know is if this would be effective in cleaning my water, does this count as a biological filter, a mechanical filter or what?\
