Making a hole Can't Post

Guys..i already bought a TT tower and all the medium required but right now im wondering how to poke a hole big enough to put the hose from my drum vortex chamber and then into the tt tower..btw the tt tower is quite thick..i do have a drill but its a small drill and can only drill a small hole into the drum and the tt...howd u guys poke the hole?i mean do u cut it using a scissor?sorry im a bit newbie about this stuff..

You want a hole saw. For more information:

You should be able to find this in most hardware stores. Put simply, the hole saw comes in the shape of a circle, and has teeth like a saw has. You want to find the hole saw that is exactly the same size as the hole you want to cut.

The hole saw attaches to your drill like the bits you normally have attached. Buy a good brand (not a cheap one that often have poor fitting pieces).

In starting this hobby, we all make ALOT of mistakes, and that is the learning process! And yes you will get pissed off and want to give up, but keep trying and reading! I did it this way and today I have my dream pond that is crystel clear.
