Where to buy it...???? Can't Post

Hi ,

My new build pond was started leakage, so I heard some experts in order to preventive of leaking.

Must use fibre glass and apply with black dye to paste on the pond wall.

Hence, I need somebody to recommend me where can buy this fiber glass and black dye stuff.
So , I can DIY by myself...

thanks..

Nobody seemed to take notice of you my fren.

I think because you are asking for fibreglass that expensive and not easy to DIY staff so nobody is responding.

Try something easier. Here is the alternative. Use Acrylic Paint.

There are two popular types. One is water base come with either white or grey colour. This is not suitable for pond as it will not be absorbed to the cement but form a layer of acrylic and can peeled off if present of water vapour where cement is not fully dried or somehow water get into cement from the other side of the wall.

Another is clear in colour, oil base. What you need to do is paint it like normally you paint the wall. You need at least two coats to seal the leak. Since it is cheap and easy to apply, you may want to give a third coat and make a perfect water prooof.

It is colourless so my fren the original colour of your pond stays. Make sure you clear your pond thoroughly. You may want to do a test if you have doubt with my recommendation.

1. Buy one small can of the paint, say one litre,
2. Get a dry rock or cement rock/block or a brick, weight it and record the weight
3. Paint the rock over with the acrylic paint, give it a 3 coats (pls wait for it to dry before apply the next coat)
4. Weight the rock again. This time it should be a little heavier with the paint on it.
5. Dip it in the water. As deep as your pond depth. Deeper better as the water pressure increases with depth regardless of pond size.
6. Take it out the next day. Dry it and weight again.

If the weight is same before it was dip into the water, you have 100% water proof. And now go and paint your pond. Mad

If the weight is lighter than before, something is wrong. You recorded the info wrongly.

And if the weight is heavier than before, again something is very wrong and so wrong.Mad You either bought a wrong paint, do a lausy paint work, wrongly recording the info or something or some mistake made! Why? Because I cannot be wrong, ha, ha, ha, ha,,,BlushSly

Not knowing where you are makes it difficult to know where to send you. Members on this forum are from all over the world. Tell us where you live and the members who live in your locale can advise you more perfectly.
