cheap bio media!!! Can't Post
Hello everyone, in my never ending search for new biomedia, I found a good media that you can get for free or for very cheap, ANY WHERE in the world!! There are companies that make plastic parts for machines! These companies make molds for plastic injections, and also use a LATHE!!! The Lathe will produce PLASTIC RIBBON!!!!!Since the company is in the business to make parts, they usualy do not take the time or money to melt theses SCRAP ribbons down, in other words this is total scrap!! The company I visited said they would weigh the TRASK BAGS full of plastic ribbon and sell it!!!If I knew this, I would have sent in my girlfriend, with a sad look on her face to ask if she could have a bag or two of these scrap ribbon for her FISHIES!!!!! I am sure they would just give it away her!!! Make sure it is clean!!! This is very important! It would be very hard to try to clean this twisted ribbon plastic!! And these companies have alot! Also maybe check to see when trash day is!!! And lower your pride , and get a bag or two!!!! The more money people save on things like filters,media ect, the more we have to buy a new koi!!! And these you cant find in the trash!!!

UPDATE!! Well, here it is, the company CANT sell the plastic scrap ribbon to me, because it is not a product for them to sell, so they would have bookkeeping problems, also they do not want to be held responsible for the product , as it has no quality control, so!!!!??? This is where I stand????? I asked if they would DONATE this, they said call back some other time?????? so I thought I would send this update! I am sure that a woman asking for this SCRAP would have no problem!!!! So GUYS its time the woman did something other than sit and enjoy OUR LABOR!! send them out to do the dirty work!!! I mean we clean the filters!!!!
