Hi Sriramar,

I am a supplier of biological filters and systems for fish ponds and hope that I can assist in your query.

Firstly I would like to know if your pond is located in a shaded area or if it is a covered area? Normally we would oversize the filter for koi pond due to our weather conditions here.

The existing filter that you have is insufficient for the circulation. I would suggest that you change to a gravity flow filter or add on another pressure flow filter to compliment the existing unit.

If you need further details. please email me at : low_richardbs@yahoo.com or give me a call at 016-9620918.

Regards

Richard

hey richard, thanks for the reply. my pond is now under construction again, we are currently extending it and making a 50,000 liter pond, i had vincent of momotaro to come by the other day to give me an idea or 2 about the filter, im gona be building a bakki shower and a 1m x 1m x 6feet deep machanical filter. i will contact you for further assistance once the pond is in its final stages.

ps. yes it is using using a gravity flow system that leeds to the machanical filter and a pump that pumps the water to the bakki shower..
