how do you make a fish net? Can't Post
Hello,

Has anyone made their own circular 30 inch fish net? How did you hake it and what material did you use?
I have an aluminum supplier who can bend solid aluminum for me.

use an aluminium ring and stretch a soft net around it..... not very sure

no one really make one for themselves, i bought mine really cheap, but it's good quality.Wink

you are lucky, around here they are expensive. I think my aluminium guy can form the circle for me I just need to figure out how to secure the circle to the pole and to look for a suitable net

Lar,

Since you know someone who can make the aluminium circle, get yourself a soft thick net(holes can be 10mm) and 30pounds fishing lineWink. Get the circular and place it over the net. If the circular is say 2ft in diameter, cut the net just under 3ft in dia to give you some slack. Now you need someone to teach how to stitch like this _|_|_|_. The vertical line is where the fishing line on the net and horizontal is the circular. I hope you can understand coz I've lost itLaugh
