liner tape Can't Post

When taping down folds in rubber liner which works better:

-Single sided tape across the top of the fold

-two sided tape inside the creases

what works the best is using both, Double to hold it down, and single to finish off the bond.

Is liner tape the most economical method of holding down folds in rubber liner? Is there something else that would work? Would silicone or rubber cement be cheaper?

use the liner tape. Silicone and rubbber cement will leak. Here's what we did when using the liner tape. we placed a 2x4 under the area we wanted to seam together. It gave us a nice flat surface to work on. Cleaned both surfaces with rubbing alcohol. Place the liner tape on the bottom layer evenly, no creases...then place the upper liner on the tape. Hopefully it's warm and sunny when you do this. If it's not, and it's chilly outside, warm up your work area with a hairdryer....and apply firm pressure on the new seam. Hope this helps...
