quarantine tank! Can't Post

My brother in law is a master woodworker/furnature refinisher. He had these acid and bleach tanks specifically made to dip large furnature in acid to remove the finish. They are 3'x 8'x 3' deep. He paid $3,500 to have them made years ago. Well about 2 years ago he had new ones made to custom fit to his new shop and let the others sit in the sun for 2 years. I saw them and asked what he was going to do with them. He gave them to me! So i am going to make a quarantine tank out of one of them and the other i want to modify into a 4 chamber filter for an 8,000 gallon pond we are about to start on. They are made out of steel with a built in drain plug and a adjustable heater(In its own little houseing). Right now they are alittle rusty so i thought about putting in a liner but that would not allow me to use the heater. So then i thought about using waterproof paint sealant after a good cleaning. Anyone have any suggestions. I have pictures i will post later.
