water return and skimmer question. Can't Post

il be making my pipeworks soon for my skimmer and water return. but im confuse with the design. i need your help guys.

For the water return.
-red line is the pipe from my pump. which design is more effecient? fig 1a? fig 1b?
-if i have 3 pipes for return, can i just connect them in series?



For the skimmer.

Hi etgo,

For water and skimmer return Fig 1a. You want to minimise the bends as much as possible to improve water flowSmile

-if i have 3 pipes for return, can i just connect them in series?
You can run them on series connection but I'd advice you to use valves on each return so you can distribute the return evenly or what ever suits your pondWink
