Can someone help identify eggs found in my pond? Can't Post
I am trying to figure out if some eggs that I found in my pond are frog or fish eggs. Usually I find the frog eggs in "puddles" - either floating in the water or all over the floating pond plants (black dots in a puddle of clear, slimy gel). These eggs (black dots) were suspended in a tube of a clear gel-like substance.. I have never seen eggs in that form before and don't want to pull them out if they are from any of the fish in my pond. Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera, so I don't have a picture to post. Any help is greatly appreciated!

That's it! Thank you so much! We have to be careful re:toads - the toads in our area are poisonous to dogs. Our next door neighbor's dog has become "addicted" to the toads - they secrete the a toxin from behind their eyes and apparently the toxin makes the dogs high before they go into convulsions and sometimes die. Our neighbor's dog has almost died twice from the toads. The vet says the dogs become addicted to the high and keep going after the toads. So, we do our best to control the population. These eggs are now history!

yeah my dog ate a toad too lol she was duling non stop and soaking the floor so we called the vet and they said it could be antifreeze stuff for cars and we thought she was going to die but she still ate a toad....... we were scared lol and shes still alive yay lol
