Clorine remover Can't Post

Is there a clorine remover you can attach to a garden hose? Instead of adding clorine remover?

jazzmo....

I'm not sure about that.....but I doubt it....

I just leave my water out for 24 hours and the chlorine is out....inexpensive and works....but not as efficient and quick...Crazy I just don't see the point of chlorine removers unless you're in quick desprite need of dechlorinized water for your pond....Laugh

Anyway.....I've never heard of hose attachments....lol....please enlighten me....

thank you

With regards, Jarvis

Doesn't chlorine kill Koi? It does as far as I know. I have to add some water everyday do to the pond being in a green house and evaporates. It doesn't take much to top it off, but it's county water, not well water and at times they add alot of chlorine, you can smell it. I don't want to do anything that could endanger the Koi's health.

jazzmo....

Ok, chlorine kills koi, but......back to what I said earlier.....Chlorine gas will naturaly diffuse out of the water in 24 hours......

I just leave the water in a tub outside for 24 hours or more to let the chlorine disipate....then I add the water....

I have a small pond and the water evaporate in the cold too.......that is exzctly what I do.....Smile

If you top up your pond slowly and use sprinkler(like in the shower) from a good height, by the time the water hits your pond the chlorine will be goneWink

many towns use chloramine which takes longer or never dissipates.
so you will have to use a chemical remover

Hello, get a clean or new plastic trash can, ( a big one) and simple fill it and let it sit over night! Thats all! And with a small extra pump, you pump the water out of the trash can and into your pond! As a koi keeper, its a good idea to always have a couple extra pumps around, they can realy help! I have from small little wterfountain ones to big ones!
