Want som Koi jokes here!
1. Let's hear what the amateur say:
They are cheap, not worth wasting time and money treating them when they are sick. We can always replenish the cheap stock. As for equipment and others, wait till I am a professional then talk.
2. What has the professional has to say:
Quality or not, they are all mine. Just keep a few good ones and give them the best. Just tell me where I can get quality ones. Price is secondary to me.
3. What about the breeders:
It don't matter whether they hobbyists buy their Koi from us. We are always here to help them wherever and whenever we can.
4. Oh No! the newbies will be looking for the "BEST" and "CHEAPEST" KOI in town.

Hello,

Those who wish to keep koi should go for small number but quality koi as long as they are within their budget. No point of keeping large quantity of low quality koi. The more koi you have, the more water quality problem you are going to face. Not to mention that both low quality and high quality koi will still consume more or less the small quantity of food.

You must also invest on proper pond and water filtering equipment and must learn to take of your koi properly. Many beginners give up the hobby after finding that their die easily, as a result of no proper care.

Hence it is important to learn about koi and water treatment before attempting to start buying koi or even building a garden pond.
