Hi

I live in the UK and I have just finished building my pond and now I need to seal it. First of all I need to know what is the best sealer color to use ie clear, black, blue etc I need to know so I can make sure that the water in the pond always clear so I can see the fish.
Secondly I have fond sealer called V8 only in black and its about £40 and I have also found the G4 in clear for £45...
Could you please let me know which one of those shall I buy....

Could you please tell me how much sealer do I need and how much water in Liter will the pond take.
I have included an image for my pond, the pond with two different hieghts.

I need to know how much water to put in so I can buy the right pump and filter.... I have found pump and a filter for £90 the it pumps 2000 liter per hour and the filter for 4500 liter pond........

Please reply as soon as possible

My guesstimate for your pond volume is 4500L(approx). Get something 6000L/hr at least, this will give you water turn over rate of once per hrWink. Remember to consider pipe length, elbows, head height, etc.

Sealant.. It doesn't matter what color coz algae will grow on the walls and floor so you will not see them apart from the area that's above water. You can have pink if you wantTongue I've never heard of V8, in cars yes but not as sealant. I know a lot of ppl use G4 in UK. You may have to ask you local koi club for some tips & tricks or wait for Zoul man, he's from your part of the worldSmile
