Hi-free shusui! Can't Post

the subject kind of says it all...

He's two now. Last winter he had hi halfway up his body (not quite but close to bordering the blue), and it has dissolved through this spring. Now he's blue/white w/a clear head. No other fish in the pond has suffered from any color changes this year...With all the sun and some pH issues from city water I sometimes have to deal with a lot of sumi growth, but I haven't had any of those problems this year. Frown. So where'd it go? Why'd it go? He was never going to be a show quality fish anyway, but when I got it I was confident that he'd have that traditional (as traditional as a 70 yr bloodline can be) look, and now no hi.

color changes is not common for you,but it can be possible as kois grow older. I'm not exactly quite sure, but there might be something wrong with your shusui. maybe a disease, i suggest you to contact a koi vetenarian.
