I tried to net it out, but couldn't get a hold of him...he is about as big around as your finger...
I'll "try" and get a picture...I went outside again and couldn't find him..Once he was on one side of the pond and then I saw him on the other side of the pond......Gosh I hate snakes....I live in Central Alabama...
thanks Zoul

Only 4 snakes that are poisonus in Alabama apparentley and the moccason snake is the swimmer sometimes called the cotton mouth.
(well swims with it's head out the water)

So be careful. Do you have a local authority that will do snake irradication? Don't wanna be messing with venamous snakes without a big stick.

You might have seen this already but i found this.

Hope this helps.

If you cant catch the snake, you can allways catch your fish....

if it really becomes a problem, grab your fish and put them in some sort of temporary storage tank...

then, pull out your nine, and busta kap....

you should probably call anamal control or something... We have water moccasons up here in missouri... and theyre not that fun to tangle with... my uncle had a private pond and he allways used to use bird shot in his 22... seemed to keep them away for a while...
Tanks!

If you have a net, or a Koi sock you can just fish it out. Don't touch it though. In some snakes when they are young they are more venomous. My frined had a snake in his pond just the other day...it was small and to our huge surprize...his biggest Koi, Sunshine, ATE THE SNAKE. SHe really enjoyied it too...lol. Shes fine.
