Sunburn on Koi Can't Post

Hi all,

I came home the other day to find a koi had jumped out of my pond. The fish was still alive(just) but it had been lying in the direct sunlight.

I put it back in the pond and after a few hours it started swimming around normally. However today I've noticed algae growing on the side of the fish. I think it must be sunburnt and lost its scales.

Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to save the fish?

Regards

klax

Maybe he damaged his scales when flapping around on the floor? What does the algae look like? Is it green algae or white fungus?
