When Koi attack! Can't Post

Greetings all,
I have a problem my Koi keeps going after the butterfly Koi and "eating" or trying to eat her fins.
At first I thought it might be a water quality problem or some type of health problem with the butterfly, Yet all my levels are perfect.
After frequently seeing the fish do this I have come to realise it's just getting worse. He literaly latches on to them and yanks.
Here is a pic so you can see what I am talking about. Poor butterfly :(

Hello, The reason MAY be that your butterfly is female, though they both seem too small yet, so what I would do is choose WHO gets kicked out to another home! The butterfly is in my opinion much nicer than the other so I would put the other somewhere else.

It's possible that the koi sees the flappy fins as food of some sort. A fish tank is not really suitable for koi in my opinion ad so they may well show unusual behavior. I have never seen koi be aggressive so i doubt that there is any intent to cause harm.

Could also be your not feeding them enough and or he just does't like the other guy. If they are stressed because of the living conditions, small tank, nothing to do, what would you do?
