What do you think of this little beauty ? she is 25cm ,do you think she has potential ? i know she is a female because i watched her spawn ,i collected the eggs and a few of them have hatched today :)

It is very unusual for such a small Koi to spawn, which could diminish her potential. Small Koi that are sexually mature tend to be a bit older than they look and just genetically small. Sexually immature juveniles grow rapidly while sexually mature females tend to slow down growth as they are concentrating their growth toward egg development.

yeah i was thinking that ,she could also be a he i suppose ,the other fish was a kohaku also he/she is 31 cm . the fry are swimming about today see attached :)
just started feeding them liuqud fry food and i have the brineshrimp on the go .
the filter in the other pic is just a diy sponge filter .
