We were moving Koi around the other day and bowled them for pictures and measurements. (I hate bowling Koi when I don't absolutely have to). I'd like your comments on a few, either good or bad. Honesty is all I care about hearing. First there is a male Kohaku. Very simple patterned. 2.5 years old. Give me your thoughts on body conformation, Beni, Shiroji, etc...
Here is an interesting bekko we're growing out. It is a shiro, but in addition to the bekko pattern it has immature goshiki netting coming up as well. Very few of these ever get out of Japan from my understanding as they are an odd Kawarigoi not intentionally bred for. This one is not Japanese, and was bred by us. It is also my understanding they are very difficult to finish and hold well for very long. We shall see how it does. What are your thoughts as to the present and future prospects?
