Hey Jacky ! Where have you been keeping these 3 beautiful babies ? I have been watching the Kondo pond but never seems to see them.

I like the 2nd koi in particularly, very nice pattern.

The appearing of sumi at new location, front shoulder and left side of the back, must have made the owner very happy.
Esp the front shoulder sumi, the shoulder pattern looks more balances.

Jacky bro,

Great changes to the sanke and the kohaku, I like the shiroji quality the most...real superb.
I would come down to your farm when I reach there.

Jan 2008 - 20cm

Aug 2008 - 42cm

Hi guys,

bought this Kondo tosai recently. The first picture was taken on 24 Dec 07 while the second picture was taken on 27 Jul 08. It has grown from 20cm to 42cm during the last 7 months

What amazed me was the hi development on her head. The right-hand edge was almost straight and hardly crossed the middle of the head when the picture was taken in Dec 07; the right-hand edge has now rounded off nicely crossed the mid-line of the head substantially.

What you guys think about this tosai ? And its hi developement on her head ?

Nice kohaku, Kelvin. I do believe though that the camera angles are playing tricks on your eyes and there hasn't actually been any hi development on the head. The 1st photo was taken from a forward position near the head (therefore you see more space between the head hi and the nose) whilst the 2nd photo was taken from a position over the dorsal fin (therefore you see less space between the head hi and the nose). As you can see, the shape of the 2nd step looks different also, with the different camera angles.

Cheers,
Paul

Re: [PH8] Kondo Kohaku , tosai to nisai [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Paul,

U may be right, it could be due to the angle which the pictures were taken. Perhaps I should try to take a picture of it at around the same angle....

Thanks for your comments.

Kelvin
