My Little Shiro Utsuri Can't Post
Hi all,

Just want to share with you my little Shiro Utsuri. It's around 10" (25cm).
It had split fins when I got it a month ago, but they're rejoining now. They're almost healed as you can
see in the pictures. I'm just a few months in this hobby, but I enjoy it very much. Please feel free
to post your comments. I've been learning a lots about this hobby from this board. Smile

Hi ikoi,

What a lovely shiro you have here. It is a show koi since at this size the sumi seems to be finish already. The black is deep while the white base is good too with nice checker pattern. My sense tell this is a male koi.

Put this koi on the koi show and see what would happen Wink

I just got a ebay... shiro! It comes next week. Well, I love yours! It looks great. That the darkest fins I have seen on a shiro. I like it.

now it has black pectoral fins, i think the black will recede nearer to the pectoral fin ball joint & will form a motoguru as it grows. well that's what happened to my tosai shiro anyway Tongue

all in all its nice. but like posted ealier might be a male but f**k it. Its a nice little fella. which farm bred this one?

ogata koi farm has really upped the quality of their shiros. good shiroji n good sumi. but still cannot touch omosako shiros i believe.
