Percy's Kohaku Can't Post

Hi all,

Eventually I have managed to get photos onto the web.

Our national show in South Africa is this coming weekend 18,19 May 02. I would appreciate comments on this Kohaku of mine which i believe should be in contention for supreme champion 30 Bu.

He is currently 27cm. Breeding Sensuke x Dainiche.

Many thanks

Percy Mitchell

Phew! Some koi you have there. No wonder Koiboy expressed so many emotions. Share some of mine tooShockedTongueTongueTongueWinkSly. This is one case of "percy envy". I am sure you will give the others a run for their money. Do keep us posted on the results. How long have you had her/him? Is it a tategoi category purchase?

Good luck!

Re: [Koi Boy] Percy's Kohaku [In reply to] Can't Post

well what can i say but thanks for your comments. This yondan of mine was runner up in his catagory.Am very dissapointed but encouraged by the judges comment that she should do very well next year.what actually happened is that when i moved my koi to their new pond six weeks before our show i had water quality problems and two of my kohaku developed shimis.Hers was below the lateral line however and i thought that it would be ok.Any way i entered 9 koi and recieved 5 firsts,1 best tategoi and two seconds. Not to bad?

regards

Hi Percy,

Very nice koi. Color is fantastic. Do you have
a shade on your pond? I am impress
the way her red shade stands out.
Goodluck....

Hi Percy

Wow, 5 1st place for your entries! You must have some great koi collection!!Cool

Your yondan kohaku has the potential to be a supreme champion someday, so do not be too disappointed with 2nd place this time.

Post some pics of your 1st palce winners for all of us to gawk!
