Please tell me how bad are this koi, please answer.

They are both 11cm.

Is the Sanke don't have enough sumi? Or the sumi not good?
Is this white ground good?
Is the hi too red or not red enough?

Just tell me all the bad things you think about this koi, please.

Someone told me that for him to pay 7 US dollars to buy each of this koi from me is very generous of him, is this koi that bad?
Please i need your true opinion, thanks!

Hi,

Hope you will not mind my honest comments. How good or bad they will become will depend on which breeder and how the parents look like. How old are these fish? They look too small to check or determine the sex.

Between the two, if I have to do a "blind" choice. I will go for the sanke and watch carefully whether the slight belly will correct itself. It has a nice pattern and if the hi consolidates, if will look great some time in the future. Don't worry about the sumi -- they will improve over time.

Thanks for your comments, honest comments is exactly what i want.

These koi are both 4 months old.

These 2 koi is breed by my friend in Japan and he is a private breeder, so he don't really export his koi.

And most of his breeding stock come from Sakai and Danichi.

Please tell this someone that I am willing to pay him 14 US dollars to buy something similar to this sanke. The sanke is too small to tell much details but definately has a very nice pattern, very worth to give it a try.

I see that your price is listed as $7 each, but I'm a bit unclear as to you buying them for that much or selling them???

In any case, $7 isn't much to pay for an attractive Koi, and both of these are. Photo's are always difficult to go by as you can't tell if the colors are "true" or enhanced, but the beni looks good on both and the Sanke will make you wait and see on the sumi no matter what. Koi this size are difficult to tell much about long term, but one good indicator of skin quality is a nice even sheen, with shiroji that has a look like skim milk.
