Hey Toan I was the one talking to you and your dad yesterday when you bought the
doitsu kohaku from Majestic Koi. Nice koi. My pond is over crowded so I didn't get
anything. Are you going back? If you looking for a nice Tancho PS Koi has a nice
one for $100 I was seriously thinking abourt it but I have way too many fish already.

No, I did not know that about OhSoKoi WOW...who else that you know of in Cal.
Did you get a chance to see Anthony at Koi Enterprises he a great dealer
here in Sac. if you ever come up to Sac. you have to visit his operation.
This is where I get most of my koi and food maybe you can drop by and check
out my pond too. Tell me a little about your pond.

as far as i know, its just been him .. and about anthony .. was he the one at the indoor promoting hikari and saki hikari food ?? .. if so he gave me a lesson on saki hikari .. actually bought a bag from him (if that was him) too .. as far as my pond, its a little bit over 3000 gallons .. my filtration system consists of a vortex that moves into about 7 or 8 cubic feet of kaldnes (k1) moving bed as well as jmats .. our pond consists of both imported and local koi .. our larger koi are mostly from Ito Koi Farm courtesy of TseKoi .. then our local koi are smaller, generally 8 - 10" .. they were housed in a 1300 gallon pond .. but we moved them to the 3000gal pond because we're plannin to build an even bigger pond actually .. heh sorrie if thats confusing .. so how about yours ??

Cheers

No that guy is just hikari dealer. Anthony is the one outside right in front of the
entrance before going inside. He is right in front of Majectic koi where you got the doitsu
kohaku. I know TSE koi very well I pick up a great pearl scale sanke from them last
year I don't know if you ever see a pearl scale before but you have to see it to believe
it. In fifteen years of following koi I have never seen a pearl scale before in person. My pond
is about 3800 gallons I have 16 koi soon be 17 koi looking for high quality Asagi. I have
about 6-7 koi that can compete in show so still debating on it. All my koi are from Japan.
They all are between two and three years old and they are range from about 12"-18" inch.
I have 4" bottom drain no SC because of space and savio skimmer all going to Aquabead
filter and UV and return to a two tier waterfall and two jets. I also run a Kam air 60 with
three 10" air stone during the summer months because of high feeding.
