Dear Harry,

From picture left to right count by number, I will select the fish 4,5,6. as they white is good for the moment and I like it very much. If only one fish can be select then it will be 6. This is more to my personal like and shiro will change it SUMI when it grow.

Hi Harry,

6 and 7 for me but am afraid that 7 has more 'finished' look hence it maybe a male. But for Shiro the future is always a mystery. Wink

Pictures can be deceiving, and I do like #6, but #7 caught my eye quickly. The skin has a very fine silken texture, the body conformation looks very good, and the pattern has a great deal of potential for now and later.

Harry,

Selecting shiro utsuri is difficult and requires experience in breeding to get in right.
I like young shiro utusri that has hidden sumi appearing on the body
and there must be sumi at pectoral fin. So No. 4 is the one. There is a slim chance
that hi spots may appear since the parent are showas.

Yes you are right those shiro are by product of breeding showa , here the picture of the oyagoi.

Thanks for pic of shiro's parent. They really look young to be used for breeding already.
It will be interesting to see what their showa offsprings look like if they have any?

Wish you luck on the Indonesia Young Koi show. Shiros No. 6 and No. 7 will be better bets for now.
No. 4 is for future. It has hidden potential and I can imagine what it looks like when its older.

The female oyagoi about 66 cm and males 45 cm at that time - 8 months ago.

Let me inform you that this koi won 1st price for shiro utsuri 35 BU at 4th All Indonesia Young Koi Show last week.
