Re: [cykoed] Showa [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi, in my opinion this Showa has reasonably good pattern. The sumi quality is good and are nicely placed at the right locations to complement the hi. However, hi quality not good; the kiwa wasn't sharp and the hi seems to cracked at quite a few areas making the benni look scattered and give the fish a slightly "dirty" look. Just my personal opinion, hope you don't feel offended.

May I know the age, gender and origin of the koi ? Cheers !

kelvinbay,

no offence taken whatsoever! just very appreciative.

i'm trying to learn on what to look out for. what better cases than with low/moderate quality ones, which importantly are what i can afford anyway! then later when i can raise my standards and budget, i'd be prepared and know how to approach and evaluate koi.
