Hi all, I want to take some pictures of my koi and note down details etc, so I can check their growth rate over the next year. But Since they are a little camera shy this means placing them in a display container. I will use the water from the pond to fill the container as it's crystal clear at the moment anyway. I know this is stressful for the koi but I also want to check them for any signs of disease. They should only be in the container for about a minute or two each. Are there any special precautions I should take or any reccomendations for the container. I imagine that light blue will show up the true colour of the koi best. Also it is winter here and the water temp is about 10C. Do you think I should wait until summer or is now the best time as they will be a little docile ? Let me know your ideas if any. Thanks Stuart
