What about this sanke? Can't Post

Dear friends,

Although I am a new userBlush in this forum, Koi Forum has been my favorite koi site (I have learnt so much from all your koi experts!). Here is a sanke that I want share with you and get your judgement.

I was biding this sanke last weekend online. Last minute my internet connection dropped. So I am not the lucky owner of this beautiful koi Pirate.

Thanks!

That's a very good looking sanke! The white is almost pure snow white. Very good indeed. The hi is also very nice on the head. Very uniform placement of the hi and the sumi is also located at the right places mostly.

It looks a little like a male koi though but that does not in any way diminishes the beauty of this specimen. May I ask what was the successful bid price and the length?

Thanks.

What was the final bid price? Where was this bidding done?

It looks pretty much like a male koi.... Hi and Sumi pretty good. Not a bad fish.... though not as spectacular as the one HWONG posted. I'd give this one 7.5/10. ;)

Not a bad koi. It was going so well from the head but then half way up the dorsal fin it kinda went down hill a little with much more sumi and less hi. ifthe pattern was a little more consistant down the body and away from the tail I reckon this would be a show winner.

Thank you all for your kind responses.

Yes, this a 3 year male, 38 cm (14.96 in) from Japan KannoKoiFarm. The winning price is only US$160.
