This koi is about 55cm.

As a novice I am not in place to give expert comment, but I looked at the pictures and I think this Koi look beautifull.

Esspecialy the Doitsu Kohaku and the Assagi is (that's what I think) a verry nice example and maybe ready for shows toWink? I think it looks like the price winners...

I looked a few times at the Forum and also www.koi.com - Koi Encyclopedia to learn more about the types and how to spell them. I think your koi looks like the pictures shownSmile

But like I say its just the opininion from a simple men...Blush

Hopefully the more experienced Koi owners can give more and correct info.

As for the Kohaku...it was so much fatter before I took thiis photo and it got thinner after a long treatment. But it is back to the pond now and going to grow fatter soon..:)

This doitsu kohaku looks good too! What have you got that isn't good looking?Wink

The center pattern near the dorsal fin looks like a butterfly.Very nice. Pls don't tell me where your house is or else.........just kiddin!

Johnson :)

You can get one of this kohaku for RM 500.00 at about 6cm.I bought this koi at about this size for this price too :) For your knowledge, doitsu kohaku grew much slower than those scaled kohaku...So consider carefullly before you buy one of the doitsu :)

Johnson,

I bought this particular Doitsu kohaku from Cheras Aquarium.It was the aquarium special stock and kept in some hidden tanks. The owner was kinda reluctant to sell also :) ...
