Here is a koi which is not a platinum ogon since it is not metallic but simply a white koi. I have a question, will kois with yellowish head turn white as they mature?

I think that is one of the way ppl tell the gender of a koi. But if u see closely the head of this koi is not actually yellow but the yellow is caused by the semi-translucent skull of the koi if I'm not mistaken. The head plate of the koi hasn't thicken.
I have a tancho sanke(see my previous thread) which the head is a little yellow creamy white, but it is a female . But I'm just wondering if these koi which head is not white will actually whiten up as the white on the rest of the body.
Yeah it is a shiromuji. The shiny scale ones are gin rin shiromuji.
Looks like you have provided me a point of comparison. I really hope mine will turn out a female later. BTW, all their heads are yellowish
