Hi, am Jon and i am new to this forum, i have been hooked by a love for koi, and have been keeping them for about a year. I have a 10ton pond with 9 koi, unlike many people, i chose not to overstock my pond. THe pond is not really good for koi though, as it is only three feet deep. i didnt design it for koi keeping, and so it dosent have a botton drain. Now, i have decided to build a new pond, this one will be of about 60 tons. I am just saying that i am truly happy that i found this site, it is really great to be able to talk to other koi lovers from around the world. Seeing the high prices that people on the forum pay for quality koi makes me wonder, maybe it is a good thing that Slovenia isnt very into the hobby yet, as i am able to get A grade japaneese tategoi for good money. Even the ful grown ones are cheaper. A have bought a beautiful kohaku, tancho kohaku, and tancho sanke tategoi for about 15pounds each. They are really A grade tategoi, and anywhere else, the reputable dealers would have stolen theese straight away and sold them for 3-5 times the price. When i take some photos of my koi ill be sure to post them here. If anybody bothered to read this, then thank u. I love this site. JON
