nipping and biting one another Can't Post
Why do koi nip and bite each other ? I bought two new fish and they both went around and like...tasted all the fish.

Hi Pinkey

It may not be serious as Dttk indicated but do be aware that kois do bite and nib at another koi which had developed fin rot and ulcers. Often than not, a small ulcer or fin rot may deteriote to such a bad state due to contribution of bites and nibbing of another koi.
It happens to my koi which develops a fin rot which ulltimately worsens and i had the unfortunate experience of witnessing koi nibbing each other for all the wrong reasons.
