Barbells Can't Post
I have some babies in my pond that came (I'm assuming) from eggs off plants that I added to the pond over the summer. The babies are now big enough to start identifying whether they are goldfish or koi. Some I've already positively identified as common goldfish, another one or two are most likely koi, and then there is a whole host of others I can't yet identify.

My question concerns barbells. It was mentioned to me before that koi will have barbells. What about goldfish/koi mixes? Is it possible for these to have barbells too? I know they can interbreed, but I don't know if there is a way to tell true koi and mixed goldfish/koi. Do barbells only appear on full koi?

Still trying to figure these babies out... :-)

they all could be koi barbels can fall off, or be clamped.

Hi ;luv I have been searching the web to find the same thing and have not been able to find anything also post a while back about these strand looking fish .couldnt get much info on this so if you find anything I am in need of info to.
