Fry Raising Questions from another newbie...

Currently, I have 2 fry, about 1 1/5 inches in length, & about 4 weeks old. I have lots of questions & this site has been the best one I've found & really helped us new koi-humans with these wonderful new family members. I have a few questions about the babies, & hope someone can provide some insight. 1. Approx when should one be able to see barbells? We have one male sarasa & 4 koi (2 male, 2 female) We know who "mom" is, as she was a new addition, & the other female had spawned earlier this season. But with 3 males, there's no telling who papa could be! Any ideas? I attempted to take some pictures, but couldn't get a clear shot. 2. When should you start to see colors? One baby has very distinct black on its back; the other is still white-ish, with maybe a little bit of a flesh coloration (hard to tell when they're in green water). I've read in a few other threads here that you can tell from the coloration sometimes what the babies are (koi or mixes), but no one's been real specific about this! 3. What size or age would the babies be safe to put in the pond? We have 2 10-12' koi, the rest are around the 6' mark or so, plus random bullfrogs who have found us- I'd hate to spend all this time raising the fry, only to have them eaten! 4. Should I winter them inside, in an indoor pond? They probably wouldn't be real big by the time the colder weather hits us (Good ol' Kentucky weather). 5. When would it be appropriate to begin feeding crushed up regular food? We've been feeding them baby brine shrimp, liquid fry food (they're big enough now we stopped giving them this) & "first bites", as well as the natural algae that's been growing in their tank. I was able to find some spiralena (finally), but would love to crush up some "growth" formula food for them, but don't want to do this too early & lose them. Phew... I think that's it for now! Thank you all so much for any help, assistance or wisdom you can share.
