Fry flashing then dying Can't Post

I made a pond this year and put some koi in, well to my supprise they keep spawning started about a 3 months after they were introduced to the new pond.
I keep seeing the baby fish but they dissapear so i'm guessing the bigger koi are eating them, well they had a new batch so we went a got a 10gal tank
with filter and caught about 25 fry.

I change the water about 60% each day, they keep dying about 3 a day so i started only changing 10% a day and they still keep dying. The biggest one just died so i checked the water and the PH is 8.0 the Ammonia is .25 is it the PH ? I think the ammonia is up because i didnt do a water change today.

The PH is a little bit high but thats not whats killing your fish ...the ammonia is ,i know you are doing water changes but have you tested the the water before your changing it with the tank water ?

the reason your fry are flashing is ammonia irritates and burns skin/gills and so on and will lead to death eventually .

you might need to use something zeolite in the short term .

My pond has 0 ammonia and ive tryed using that. i've also used our ditch water and they where still dying even with the 60% water changes thats why i didnt
think it was that. The filter was not moving alot of water so i cleaned it out last night so it might have been lack of air?

Also i've noticed there insides turn really red sometimes is that normal for a fry groing up? Unsure

Ammonia or nitrite can both do a number on fry, as their ability to tolerate poor water is minimal. You need plenty of aeration along with water changes, and you need to test for nitrite as well as ammonia. Brown blood disease may be contributing to your high mortality rate.
