While the thread KFG is referring to "appears" to be harmless, it is best to err on the safe side. (This one seems to be another example of a poster trying to advertise something from a Chinese source, but they didn't use a compatible translation algorithm ) Sometimes selfstyled hackers and virus creators will screw up and send their sh_t in machine code instead of hiding it in an executable file. Occasionally an email will show up in my inbox that is nothing but apparant gobbldygook, but it is really open code machine language that only an experience security systems analyst can make sense of. Bottom line, if you are going to use the internet for anything at all you need to follow some basic CYA rules. 1. Make sure you have up-to-date antivirus software installed on your computer. 2. Download at least 2 or 3 antispyware programs and keep them running in the background at all times. (I use Norton, Spybot Search and destroy, Microsoft Antispyware, AdAware, and Spysubtract) 3. Run behind at least one firewall. (I use Norton and MSIE)
