Is It a normal growth koi fry? Can't Post

Hi All...,
A month ago, my 3 shusui (male) and 1 kohaku (female) had spawned. Now many koy fry has 29 days old. Their size is 1,5 cm with yellow and white collour. My question is: Is it a normal growth to koi fry? What can I do to make their growth faster? And, what food could I give if I want their collour shiny. I take the koi picture, but I am very sorry if I can't put a good photos coz I am not a photografer.
Ok, all. I wait your answer to help me? Thank's before.
Regards,
Ajeng

Koi vary greatly in their growth rates. An average is 4 inches at the end of the first year, 8 inches at the end of the second year, and 12 inches at the end of their third year. However, after their 3rd year their growth pattern slows down. Koi can exceed 30 inches in length but growth can be impaired by an over crowded pond and many other factors.

you can check out the growth rate charts here: http://www.coloradokoi.com/koisize.htm

Now I have hundrets koi fry which bigger than the others, more or less 1 inch. But, some others still little. I had separate them in two different ponds. The bigger koi fries haven't color pattern yet, but I look their body is good. I hope they will be nice kois. Ok Ricky, I'll take developed pictures next time, hope your comment. See you.

good job! they look as if they are growing well, If you have a mud pond that does not have anything in it they will grow better for you. If you dont and have the space make one in your yard using the city or well water whatever you have you can keep it full and really grow some nice koi.

Good luck with your fry.

Thank's for your advice, Koifishgirl. Yesterday, I make a mud pond in my back yard, coz I want to see my koi fries grow better. My size mud pond is 4 m (L) x 3 m (w) x 1,5 m (D), is it enought to keep my koi fries grow better, Koifishgirl?
