Hi Jarvis, Actually the bad eggs are opaque and the good one are almost transparent in color. Koi eggs should hatch around 4 to 6 days depends on the temp of the pond where the eggs were laid. Sometimes it take more than 10 days but if that happens the deformity rate will be high. So might have to throw them and start a different pair. Pair older kloi like four yrs old or above. Older koi will give you healthy, larger eggs and deformity will be low Yes, you can add air stones and keep an eye on the ammonia and ph once their started hatching. rgds, Jon "DuKu Friendly" _____________________________________ "No one is ever too old to know better" http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y63/Koi38/
