Koi inbreeding? Can't Post

I have a pond that is around 3000 gallons. I have 8 12-14 inch koi that have reproduced a couple times leaving me with about 200 babies that have now grown to around 3 inches. This winter, I am going to build another pond to transfer some of the babies to when it warms up again, but I was wondering if when they get large enough if they will breed to each other? And if they do, will there be a risk of having mutated koi due to inbreeding? Big thanks to any help on this subject. Smile Oh, and also. Do frogs effect water quality at all? I have 5 or so inhabiting my pond. Thanks again.Smile

Koi are inbreed so much that it wont matter, they take parents and breed back to sib, just to set a line all the time. Just cull the deformed koi and enjoy.

If you wish to see your fish reach full size you may want to remove the frogs, atleast temporaily. My africa albino frog began eating my younger goldfish when it got bigger. Frogs will eat anything that can fit in their mouths. So if the frogs are as big as or bigger than your fish, they will atempt to eat the fish. Hope this helps.
