Thats life, we live and learn.
Always the way when we have other fish in the pond well other types of carp. Alot of people seem to think that koi and goldfish crosses are Hybrids and therefore infertile. Well you and i know thats not true huh?
It shouldnt be to hard to find new homes for them, Just don't expect the homes they go to, to be perfect.
Still least wise you can make room for more nice koi to bread next year.
Mutts or show stoppers it dosen't realy matter as long as you learnt something and enjoyed the experiance.
Next year there will be no stopping you from rearing the worlds best koi in your own home ever...Just like me.

A friend brought over a friend from a local college and she id my little ones as mix of goldfish and koi...I'm so sad..not only that but last year when they spawned I have 5 that are also mix..they have the color's of white and red...no barbs and wide body's...I thought they were sterile and wouldnt reproduce. My heart is broken..I now will have to find homes for all but 3 of my fish. I know this sounds bad but I really want only the koi in my pond....they only good news is that I know know how to raise fry!
