Koi parents Can't Post

Here are the pics of my two parents that I just bred. I think they are both Kohaku. THe daddy is the orange and white one at the top and the mamma is the speckled orange one sorta in the middle. If I am wrong about the types please let me know.

Hrmmm the pic was to large to load. Had to find some editing software for free to resize it. Hope this works.

The male on top is definitely kohaku but the female I'm not sure about. May be technically kohaku, bu the hi is so freckled that it may be classified as kawarigoi (unique or unusual koi).
Got any baby pix to go along with the parents?

Try this. The first one is today and these are the medium sized ones of the bunch sitting at around 6 weeks old. Later when I feed and have more batteries I will get some pics of the bigger ones. The bucket shot is one of four buckets that I put into the big pond at 2 weeks.

Those photos look very familiar. I had some just like it this springWink. It is funny how many start out looking pale bland yellowish and the next thing you know red, black, Orange, and blue start popping out all over the placeLaugh.

Yea I can't wait until they start really changing. I'll post more pics as they get older to show what one would get with those two. .........._/)

Both parents are kohaku and it looks like you might have some nice fry out of the pair, keep the pics coming as they grow, koi parents dont need to be perfect to produce some nice fry. The closest koi in the last pic looks like it is going to be a nice little kohaku. See if you can get us some better pics of the fry. I would love to see them.
