Lots of Fry, I mean lots

I have lots and lots of fry in a 300 gallon tank. Hard to tell how many, but there are alot. I know that I have to change the water alot, because the natural pheronones (however that is spelled) can cause the fish not to grow. I was wondering if, since I have about 2,000 maybe 3,000 or more, in this tank. I was hoping they would grow so I cull them out, should I remove half of them anyway into another 300 gallon tank? Or can this many koi fry actually grow so we could eventually cull them out? Also I am feeding them 4 times a day. Did a partial water change yesterday and did another larger water change today. Should I change the water once a week or is that too much, or too little? Well one spawn was a controlled spawn. Two white doitsu, fantail. Beautiful males with one Kohaku female a real beauty. The other spawn happened in the main pond. With an unusual Matsuba. It is unusual because it has an almost bull nose, is the only way to describe this fish. Not as pointy as other kois. The pond guy that imports from Japan every year, White Path, in Dahlonaga, he is great. Well he told us that this is an unusual fish. He mentioned last year that he wished it was a female. Well she is a female and involved in this spawn, was another white fantail and a shushui fantail. Also a ginrin, solid white got involved. Three hours later, I was so so tired, I needed a nap. It was the most amazing thing I had seen. So any help in regards to the amount of fry in a 300 gallon, how many water changes per week for the QT??? Also 4 times a day feeding is that enough??? Nitrites and trates 0 PH have to raise it, 7.0 Ammonia 0 Have to check the KH GH Thanks for any help, Lynda
