New Baby after 30 Days!! Can't Post

We purchased 2 6" Taiwanese Koi on June 3rd from a local breeder. Today, July 6, we have a baby approximately 1 1/2" long swimming around!! It has the same markings as one of our fish. How on earth could this have happened so fast? This is a brand new pond and we didn't think they were old enough to lay eggs. Also, how long does it take for the eggs to hatch? One more question: is there a possibility that the older two will try to eat the baby?

I had the exact same thought, but no, our backyard is inaccessible to a prankster and the baby looks exactly one of our fish - it is definitely a koi and they are fairly expensive around here. Could we have purchased a water plant that had somehow gotten koi eggs in it? We are completely baffled, but it is definitely there. We saw it for several hours last night.
