Raising Koi Fry Can't Post

Hello All

I have about 150 koi of 2cm in two 1000l containers. I have noticed that as we get closer to winter and the tempretures drop the growth rate has slowed. This I expected.
Is there are way to increase growth at this time. How can I speed up the growth process? Please help

Quinton

I do have a larger pond that they can go into when they reach a size of about 5cm. It is 22000 litres (7m x 3.5m x 2m deep). I need to grow them to a decent size before then . If I put them in the main pond now the big ones will swallow them whole. Any other suggestions?

Cheers

HI,
I also have a few fish fingerlings of 1 to 2 inches in length. I have been feeding them growth food (high protein pellets) and they are growing well. I feed them 4 times a day. I got them on Jun 17th and in 2 weeks they have grown about 1/2 - 3/4 inch.
