Hi

Could anyone please tell me what signs i am looking for in my pond so i can tell weather fish in my pond are breading.

I was watching them the other week and 2 fish one a male shubukin and the other a mlaysian koi were taking turns to go behind a plant i have in my pond one of them was going on its side against the plant pot. Is this them breading.

Please help

Nope.
This is likely some type of parasite infestation.
Flukes, ich, anchorworm or argulus (fish lice) are my first thoughts. Search the forum for each of these bugs and learn about them. They show up in everyones pond from time to time and you need to know how to fight them.
Begin by salting the pond and watching for improvements.
Meke sure...positive sure... your PH stays stable all day (no or very little variation) and all other water parameters are correct.
Keep posting results. It will get solved.

If i salt the pond how much salt should i put in it. it is 350 gallons and how often should i salt it.
